It’s a small journey from being passionate about playing guitar with wisdom of certain choices in my all life to ultimately manifest myself into making of guitar, being unknown in my own journey, ideas explored to do something great where my soul can manifest the choice of best quality of sound & craftsmanship in my own handcrafted guitars..

And that’s where the Gipsy Guitars is born to tell the story that like Gypsies that it doesn’t belong to any country region or tribe they carry the soul of music and evolution journey of sound of strings….to tell their emotions of anguish pain joy of all there generation for thousand years of migration and evolution with this small piece of string instrument called as guitar…

And this journey was started planting in my Mind from 2017 when I had return from overseas Job & I was working in india, I decided to train myself in carpentry work, I join one small carpenter workshop where I learned some woodworking skills which later I enhanced myself in learning the methods as Luther’s do, hrs. & hrs. spend myself in reading & watching video materials related to guitar making. My main purpose of these experiences was to design a guitar life cycle, based on the situation of the Indian market environment, and also for future exports.
Being a guitar player, and also a guitar maker is the reason for choosing this topic. The process I experienced is valuable I would say it could be almost the same as that in guitar factories anywhere, only thing is I have small workshop comparatively which is just a pilot project to multiply in big scenario.

Vision (Goal)

The Vision is to improve the process of guitar production for the future in a much bigger scale based on the economic requirement of market in india & for export .And that’s why It concerns the layout of a guitar factory. Improving the efficiency of guitar production was the most significant issue. A good factory layout saves time of transporting semi-manufactured goods, decreases the work load and improves the operation performance. The other aim of the experience was to design a new guitar type. The new design was to be suitable for the Indian music culture and guitar players. The guitar type designed was to be at least theoretically within the reach of the customers of the Indian market, I have made few samples with each unique design(Pics photo stock) and I exhibited in Pune Biblical College & also took review from some famous Music Instrument retailers from Mumbai & Outskirts, while there was always a scope of improvement in near future in terms of cost & design. To achieve the two aims in practice, there has to be factory located in Industrial Zone, with all the necessity of industrial requirement. It is uniquely designed to produce the new type of guitar. The simulated business is a case study, which follows the life cycle of guitar production.
First of all, getting a Indian supplier is necessary. The goal is to find economical suppliers. And the supply chain for quality of raw materials has to be reliable. Secondly, the employees have to be well trained.. Through the labor costs, the proper balance between the performance and investment level could be achieved. The third challenge is building a selling system. It should be able to integrate a variety of sales methods from Online B2B B2C to offline retail showrooms.. The selling system should cover most of guitar consumers. That’s where the branding & marketing comes. The final element is the transportation from the factory to customers. The aim is to design low-cost packaging with low damage rates keeping the short lead time.
